Thank you for supporting the NATEFIT Calgary Exposed 5K – together we raised $31,500 for inn from the cold
What is the NATEFIT Calgary Exposed 5K Run?
Be one of fifty philanthropist athletes (maximum of 50 runners) that are coming together to train in the cold, and run the NATEFIT Calgary Exposed 5K shirtless to raise money for Inn from the Cold.
The NATEFIT Calgary Exposed 5K Run, organized by NATEFIT Integrated Fitness & Nutrition, will take place January 26, 2020 at 12:00pm, starting and ending at the Calgary Health Show at the BMO Centre.
Last winter 20 NATEFIT runners braved the cold to run shirtless for 5km in -35 degree weather, to help Inn From The Cold carry out their mission of building a community where no child or family is homeless. Together we raised $31,500 to end children and family homelessness in Calgary.
Why support Inn from the Cold?
Imagine you or a loved one with nowhere to sleep on a cold Calgary winter night…
Or worse, this traumatic experience at the vulnerable age of five…
For over 20 years Inn from the Cold has provided, emergency shelter, affordable housing and program supports to homeless children and their families..
“And sadly, the number of families seeking shelter, housing and assistance increased by 20% this year.”
Be a runner or a sponsor, get involved!
Runners are encouraged to use their Race Roster account to raise $500 to be the hero of a child, help Inn from the Cold provide shelter and support to homeless children and their families.
